This is the remains of the Middlehope Drive-In on rt.9W in Newburgh, N.Y. it was open from 1950 to 1987. I added the still from the 1955 movie "The Seven year itch" To the crumbling screen. We are lucky to still have two operating drive-Ins in the area. The thing that I find most interesting about this scene is that the speaker stands are still there, Remember those?

I sure do remember them Jim. Good creative work here my friend. As a little one we used to pop up a bunch of popcorn and fill a brown bag and head to drive in! As a teenager - well that was a little different! :)
Nicely done. sandi♥

Excellent manip, Jim. It almost looks like you put a huge rear projection TV in the picture. We have a drive-in like that one here.....now they just have flea markets there.
