We had some really heavy fog a few weeks back. This picture was taken from a pier at Victor C. Waryas Park. In the background is the Poughkeepsie Railroad Bridge, It was in service from 1889 to 1974 and is currently being turned into a pedestrian walkway.that spans the Hudson river, the river is there but can't be seen with the heavy fog.the only post work done on this was exposure and contrast. that's what it looked like that day.

great shot. I like the contrast between the solid foreground jetty and the ethereal slim structure of the bridge behind. The landing seagull just makes it.

Life is like a hour glass glued to the table...
a well presented picture. good lead into the birds by the post. no overlap from the bridge in the background. nice light balance for a grey day.

Excellent. You've captured the moodiness, and the bird landing gives it movement. The bridge barely visible in the background gives texture and more angles. Great lines/angles.
