Taken at a local Christmas tree drop-off area, I found some irony in the few live pine trees standing around the pile of old trees. I wonder what they think of their fallen comrades? In any case, the smell around the pile was heavenly, and I wished I could have spent all day there!

Nice idea. Not quite clear without your explanation. I wonder if it was possible to frame it with the fallen trees in the foreground?

"What other reason could there be to get up in the morning except to set ourselves free." If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.

Its a sad thing isnt it? Like a tree graveyard. To cut them down and have them a few days and throw them out..yes their comrades indeed...well said. ITs strange how wonderful cut pines smell, when they stand still attached to the ground they dont seem to give off that great scent. Im glad you posted this, it sure made me think. Maybe thats part of the reason I dont celebrate holidays. ..Not sure..but I love the trees UN cut...thanx John....verena
