This big boy is an image that I am quite proud of, I did a lot of manipulation on it, and used many skills and tips I have picked up from my Caedes friends. Please tell me what you think? JuneBug
Tks Sally girl, I can count on you to support my work.
I am glad you liked it, you can hardly believe it looked like it did before the rework eh?

Hello Steve, tks so much, I got the framing idea from Russ and his post today.
I love it too! The sky image was taken last yr. I just adjusted the contrast for the deeper blue. Can you believe that the image of the elephant as well had dreary grey skies? lol
Cloned the sky in from the background image before I did the contrast. Of course I also did a lot of layering and such for the fuller clouds.

Hi June, you are right on the money here, you really dressed him up!! When will he take his screen test? I gave you my biggest 10s!! Into my favorites also! Those blues are striking, Love, Marilyn
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
June you have managed to pull off a great job with this image...you are leaping and bounding in Photoshop (hate to say, but I told you so) haha. That sky background works great as well as the sky that replaced that grey one. I only have one little sniggle and that is that the elephant image is not balanced horozontally on the background. To accomplish this, select the background layer so it is surrounded by marching ants. Then highlight the elephant layer in the layers palette. Go to Layer>Align to selection>Horizontal center. You can also do vertical center at the same time. Wonderful work June:))
Darryl, lol, why didn't you teach me that one a long time ago. I went back and readjusted my image and it took seconds of course, tks.
Tks bro!

BY FAR!!! The best elephant picture on the site...and best that I've seen on the web. Elephants are my favorite. The manip looks beautiful! Please go back to that zoo right now and take more pictures. Thank you!
Einstein's theory of relativity: Grab hold of a hot pan, a second can seem like an hour. Grab hold of a hot woman, an hour can seem like a second. It's all relative.
What an enchanting image! I love the frame with the sky. Very clever. It shows off the elephant to perfection. The green of the foliage brings out the elephant and helps it be a very vivid photo. Congradulations on your work!
A friend of mine works in a camera store. The other day a very
confused looking woman approached the counter and handed my friend
a camera. She said "I took pictures, but I forgot to have film in
the camera. Can you please get them out of the camera for me?"
Wow, 2005 upload, this has been posted for a very long time, I was quite amateur then lol! This is a scanned image edited in photoshop for the framing and background, I would do it very differently today!
