Not sure why the outter frame appears to be uneven, but if you view this at the lower resoutions on your screen you will see that they are even, and when you download the image, they will not be uneven. Must be a Caedes thing, lol.

June. I like this image very much. I think that the use of matching the stone texture, of the falls, for the matte is pure genius! High Falls gets High Marks, !;0)

Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
I see you're having fun with framing lately...another good job on this and nice capture of the falls...spent some time at Manitoulin as a kid...thanks for sharing the memories...btw, cute new icon...a happy little guy isn't he.:Pat.
Hi June, I like this one very much , it is pretty and I agree with Fotobob, that matching the testures was a good idea, you go girl!! Sincerely, Marilyn
Great job on both the photo and the framing, June...I especially like the way your framing gives the illusion of a double frame. High marks and lots of kudos. :)
June .. you're doing great things with your framing! I like your use of the sedimentary rock for the matte. Nicely done.
Concerning the outer frame appearing uneven .... I believe this is a phenomenon with how the site represents thumbnails. I've noticed it on my framed images. It seems to pare 'just a bit' of the left side of the image. This is more noticeable with frames than with unframed pictures as they look unbalanced. The downloaded images are great.
I have so much trouble shooting waterfalls, so I know what a great job of compromising you did here. The water is just slightly overexposed, but the vibrant greenery makes up for it. A good choice, June.
Hello Steve, thank you so very much. Yes I agree, and then I was still quite amateur with the camera. This summer I will aim at some better shots!

Very interesting little waterfall. You captured it beautifully and the framing is very appealing. A definate 10 by me and thanks for sharing.
...one of the strongest motives that lead men to art and science is escape from everyday life with its painful crudity and hopeless dreariness, from the fetters of one's own ever-shifting desires. A finely tempered nature longs to escape from the personal life into the world of objective perception and thought.

I love the picture you took- nice to see a waterfall once in a while with out a long- shutter exposure. :) I personally would prefer it without the frame- seems to distract. But apparently I'm in the minority for that one.
