I’ve been looking at this for a few minutes. The highlights are gone but there’s a nice glow about it that’s quite appealing. I like the composition and the border treatment is particularly effective. It’s a thumb’s up despite the highlights.
Hi June, my this bird is so beautiful, so graceful and so lovely! You captured this little fella at just the right time! You always are able to achieve the most gracious swan images in the world! I remember others you have taken, they are without an exception always pretty to look at it! Good job, up there in Canada! Sincerely, Marilyn
oops. I missed this. I commented on Kristin's and meant to come back, but time got away from me! The color tone is very classy which works well with this classy elegant feathered friend of ours! You have such good composition and the framing is quite cool. Well done my friend :~)
Hello everyone, tks so much for the wonderful review.
The glow around the swan actually comes from the effect of the duotone filter that I applied in Photoshop for the dreamy look.
There is a similar image in colour in my gallery for anyone who is interested to see it. It is called Graceful!
Tks,
