The subtlety of this one bud is awesome and beautiful, especially with the black background to make it jump out at us. I'm sure it will be wonderful in full bloom..maybe you'll share that as well. Thanks for bringing it to us. Anita

I love the soft, halo like effect around the bud. I found myself mentally urging it to open when I looked at this in full view. I just can't understand why my psychic powers didn't work. LOL ;) j/k Very nice desktop!

Pretty rosebud JuneBug! Love the work that you do....thanks for the visit to my images. I cannot do too much typing, my right thumb is so painful (old age you know) and so the doctor injected it with cortisone today and I have been giving it a bit of a rest. It does hurt to use the mouse...I think it is the position that my thumb is in....I am being very careful as I type as well. Sorry for the short words, must go now. We will chat soon :~)

I am so glad you all like it! I moved the bud onto a black background and then used the burn tool in photoshop to smooth the edges onto the new background.
