**At the moment, sitting on my desktop ... is approximately 60 MB's of differing results from some playtime in PS with your image above.
I have also seen the B & W version, which is at the root of my being here on your image's page here.
Well, why not ... 'cause I do ... love the composition of the setting/scene. Great use of the naturally occurring leading lines and placement of the wall and then that of the tree itself.
And you have peaked my curiosity as to what post processing or editing that you did here.
Has a very nice illustrative look and feel to my eyes. And one that I do enjoy.
And I am taking a guess that the lighting conditions were, as they say, challenging.
I like the quality of the lighting and the balance you achieved in keeping that element present in your image. Still present in the upper branches.
Caveats? And forgive me for commenting on your B & W version here ... some loss of detail due to overexposure in some areas. Not as promiment with the colour version presentation.
It was actually the B & W image that I noticed first, and then headed over to your galleries.
Check your PMs. :o)
Look forward to seeing more from your mind's eye and camera.
And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us.
p.s. ** That is a sincere compliment from me.
Stimulating your viewer's minds and and their own creativity?
I like the balance of the shot with the stone wall leading you into the image, and the way that wonderful tree takes up a lot of the picture, yet doesn't impose itself or dominate the scene.
The picture also has a special glow about it that makes it look beautifully surreal...thanks for sharing...Jacquie
