Interesting idea and use of effects here. Creates somewhat of a nostalgic look and feel. Nice.

My one suggestion, if I may ... would have been to pull back a bit and get some more foreground into the shot. Particularly, as I really like the converging/receding lines created by the sidewalk in this composition.

That aspect is the stroke of photographic genius for me in this one. Really liking that.

New is good in my books. Fresh ideas are better. Nice work and don't hesitate to push the boundaries a little. This one is a diamond in the rough, so to speak ... some polishing and it would be excellent.

Thanks for sharing.

Well this originally wasn't meant to be wallpaper because it was shot at such a low resolution.

But I put it up anyway because I thought it looked nice with the colors.

Hi Kevin, This is a good shot, but maybe indeed ther could be a little more foreground in it. but the composition and the colours are great!

An interesting rendition of this scene - I personally do not care for the 'blurred' look but it is refreshingly different. A little more of the red building perhap swould have been nice as a contrast to the white blossoms. I have never seen white cherry blossom before - they are always pink in my part of the world

Well if you had read what I had said before, you would have known that this picture was not originally meant to be high resolution wallpaper.

It was taken at VGA Resolution.
