Maybe its me but it looks like the thing in the center of the button isnt centered.

I think you could have used a better center design, more fitting to your title .. perhaps the RED DRAGON from your typical computer MahJong Game .. (note: the four cards that animate in the center)

also .. the surface of the center object (jewel?) .. could have a better texture, as it is, it looks like dull plastic .. and dull plastic does not spur the imagination .. I would aim for a glass\crystalline effect

the four framing pieces in the corners could be rotated to angle to the center and repositioned into the corners .. and the background red could have texture, like paper or fabric in order to provide detail

A more pronounced shadow, suitable to the objects size, being cast in the proper direction (northwest, due to the light glint)

I DO like the font you used .. and I am interested in how you got that paper plate design stamped onto the "object"

I like the work. but here are some suggestions

The red background shows up way too much. you need to get peoples eyes focused off the red and onto the center of the picture. Keith is right about the framing peices also. they should be pointed towards the middle.

I dont have a lot of experience with Abstracts, but on the other side i can draw some amazing pictures with a pencil.

You could try to make the icon in the middle a little bolder. Maybe in a darker color.
