Hoi, Kine!
The difference between the dark side of the moon,
and you, is I can see both sides of your face...lol!
This is very unusual but a creative upload!
You look mad at this self portait, so I prefer to look
at you, eating an apple!

I do not see a dark side nor a mad side. I see an inquisitive sadness in your eyes. A look of hoping the viewer has the sought after answer. Of patient wait while that answer is forthcoming. Your photo is in black and white and so must be the anticipated answer. Your mouth is nearly blanked out by the light which tells me you are prepared to listen and not talk. As a matter of fact, all of your senses are blocked out or blanched out except for those eyes. I hope this was staged for the photo but if not, I wish you the answer you are seeking.
I really Like this! The lighting is just great, and the angle of looking down at you and you looking up is really cool, it draws me straight to your eyes, which portray such a sad and innocent impression. You have done a great job.
Ps: I think some tears might have worked really well with this. Still an excellent portrait in my opinion!

Very nice portrait, your use of light is very good and the diagonal line it creates across your face gives a good structure to the shot. Welcome to Caedes!
I agree with casechaser, there is this sadness shown, it's mostly due to the curvature of the eyebrows and your eyes. Very good photo indeed. I could bet in color it would be another one of those "MySpace" pics.
