Basilique Notre-Dame de Sion (FRANCE) is a Catholic edifice built on the hill of Sion-Vaudémont, on the town of Saxon-Sion, south of Nancy. It marks the Marian cult, which replaced the Latin goddesses who himself had implanted in a high-place Celtic. A statue of the Virgin overhanging the tower until it was filed after the fire that hit the building on November 7, 2003. On October 13, 2007, the statue was ascending the tower, after the restoration work. Of course I took the picture during summer 2007.

I love the statue and the green in the trees...they're both especially sharp and clear. The two things I would suggest for this upload is to correct the overexposure on the ground and to my eye, it looks as if we're leaning to the left a bit.

Pretty presentation.

Slightly crooked, but I really like it. I like the contrasting colors. The statue is very beautiful.
