Boscastle in Cornwall is an entrancing beauty spot, lying between the rivers Jordan and Valency with its 16th century quay. Clinging to the hillside above the fast flowing water, are a group of 14th century cottages
Did you do anything to enhance the coloration? The subject matter itself is intriguing enough, but the warm colors that envelop the composition give it just the right kick :)
Wow, what a picture Mick, Pure bliss! the overall effects of the rising dawn! and the deep shadows make this one helluva shot....top marks from for this one pal......Bob
Oh oh, Mick. This is becoming the onomatopaeic discussion of exclamations ! LOL
10/10 needless to say and I must add that the sky is beautiful beyond words ...The rest of the image too. LOL
Hey Mick this is stunning, I love the dramatic sky and how the land looks dark yet the buildings are nicely light. A truely stunning image. Right in my faves. I remember it was flooded there a couple of years ago. Did you get this shot before or after the flood?
Hi Mick, I have only inadequate words to describe this image, but I will try, OK? It is so full of such beautifullly rich brown and green tones, that I love so much! It has charm, personality and the very need to have me there! Resting on the side of these rolling hills, and overlooking the rippling water below provides me with everything I need! The fresh crisp air of autumn, the imagined music in the air, all these things would add to it's countenance of ultimate peace and tranquility! Nice work Mick, Sincerely, Marilyn
I have become so addicted and fascinated by these photographs of your side of the world! What a beautiful and lovely area you live in. Is it touristy? It seems so uninhabited.
Do you do any type of photoshop? This is just glorious as it is...How amazingly the colors compliment one another! Remarkable.
A little something? I just don't tolerate with such modesty! You either shoot out of passion or you don't shoot at all! Photography is about seeing things others can't see.

I guess every girl goes through a photography phase. You know, horses... taking pictures of your feet.

Such a beautiful shot, and made more special when you think of the horrific floods that almost wiped this beautiful place out. Again Mick your sky capture is amazing, another one to add to my faves.
This is just stunning, i have also been to Boscastle a few times with my inlaws but ive never seen it looking like this!! At first i thought it was digital, then i thought it was painted, now i realise its just brilliant.

Wow, this is one of the most beautiful photos I've seen. It makes me think of a land far away or one that doesn't exist at all. Looks quiet and mysterious. Exceptional photo!!
Wow - I used to live close to where this picture was taken and no matter what I did I could never capture it the way you did in this photograph !! Amazing !! Just like in my memories. Thank you for this trip down memory lane.
