100 year old Tobacco Barn in Kentucky. This is on the same homestead as " Forgotten" & "Restoration " . As you can see here it is also in need of some TLC especially on the foundation.

A fine example of the log cabin construction method, who knows how much longer it will be around, great shot! Good rust!

Most excellent, Marsha! That rust Clad roof contrasts Nicely with that Weathered Wood! I imagine this Structure has Cured many delights within, Over the Years! Great job in Capturing this Bit of American History!

I loved going through Kentucky and seeing those tobacco barns, most of them all black. Super capture.

Kind of gives one pause to look at that and think about those of us in today's world often complain about the heat and cold, when back in that day there was no such thing as air conditioning or central heat.

Love the bright color, Marsha. Is it worth saving I wonder if you have to start from the ground up? A really nice find. Here in CT and MA, the barns are long and don't have such colorful roofs. I bet this barn was built from the timber right on the property.
Great shot.

This wonderful capture of this old barn just made me hungry. My guess is it's a smoke house, no not tobacco...no, not that stuff either, geez people. A smoke house for curring meats like country ham. BACON!
