The Blue Mosque was built in Istanbul Turkey between 1609 and 1616. There are a total of 7 Minarets around the Mosque, some you can't see. It gets it's name for the blue tiles which adorn the walls of the interior. A beautiful piece of architecture.

Wow, you don't see that sort of thing every day, unless you live there of course... Anyway, it's a very good shot, and the trees provide interesting framing. At first glance it looks almost like the whole thing is floating when you look at the sky behind it. Well done. :)
