What an interesting shot. Were you in the water to take it? If so, you must have waited patiently for the rippling to stop. I like the surface tension in the foreground, too.

That white waterlily is awesome!! What a trick to leanover the Kayak and take this pic...Its beautiful with the large lily in front and all the others and the pads fading in the back....

Ahh, that camera's dangerously close to the water in a moving kayak, but we thank you for it. Like Quiet I like the tension on the lower petals and the edges of the pads, you don't often get to see it, but you can from this extreme angle.

Beautiful! Great perspective and lighting (and patience!). The lily isn't the sharpest and maybe you could have had more depth of field, but still gorgeous in full bloom. Great job.
