Yes, definitely crocuses. They may look a little more familiar when they are open. They have a tendency to only stay open on a sunny day. Nice sharp well composed photo. Great color also.

I love this image, it looks like there are small purple flames in some of the petals. This has been my desktop for awhile now...great job!

The title fits this image perfectly! Crocus or whatever, these are beyond beautiful. The two shades of purple, on these beauties, are so rich. Their green stalks prop these blooms up and add more gorgeous color - lovely against the blurred green background. This is a stunning desktop too. My thanks for a super image Michael :>
