This is the trail known as Knife's Edge on Mount Katahdin in Maine. It's 1.1 miles long, but easily takes an hour to complete. It actually extends much further than what is visible in this picture since the mountain is a cirque and this is from the backside.

I hope this shot was taken at the end of the trail ??? Wow...I'm going to sit right here and not move too much while you go on ahead to the end. I hope those rocks are firmly planted..Great shot, and I admire your courage :)

This is a wunderful shot of this rock. I like the clarity of the stones in foreground an the blurry in the distance.
I never saw such a high rock with such a pointed top. I'm surprised that the scree is laying to the top and no big stone is there. It looks like it were piled up. Nice shot, well done.
