Taken this past winter at a habor/state park in New Hampshire. The lighthouse is the original and it's still kickin'! I thought the tree made a nice frame.

Nice shot. The tree does make a nice frame but the focus seems to be on the tree. I like it in b&w though, kind of takes you back to when that lighthouse was built. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not a fan of b&w, especially in scenic instances, and agree with karrid on the focus. I was asked to comment, otherwise I wouldn't have.

A very nice scene and moody in the B&W!! I agree with the others though wishing that the focus was on the lighthouse. The tree does make for a nice 'n' natural frame!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .
I actually wanted the focus on the tree instead of the lighthouse to try and make it look more distant...maybe this winter I'll remember to take another one with the focus on the lighthouse. :) Thanks for the comments!
