This rock is beside Lake Aviemore in the Waitaki Valley. The track leading up there looked suitable for goats or sheep although I did think some nice photos may have been possible from up there. Maybe next time :)

It is almost time again for my midol and m&m's...beware of sudden mood swings...:) :(
Wow! I have a love/hate relationship with heights so I hope that is way up there as I imagine it to be. I would love to (try to) walk up to the top (if it's not horribly windy-as if I would get blown off) and hang out. My favorite thing to do when I was a kid in Tucson and Phoenix was climb up mountains similar to that then find it very difficult to get back down as I didn't use gear and was subject to sliding. Yes, I'm a chickengoat/desertrat totally out of my element in Dayton, OH. Ugh. Where is the stuff on the horizon?
