Sadly on the decline in the UK, but pretty plentiful in my garden!

The old 'Spuggy'...we always have quite a few around our garden bath and feeders!..Love the see the antics of the fledglings at this time of year!

A good shot of this among the branches...captured it perfect!

In decline also in Poland! Their place taken over by funny magpies & loathsome pigeons [ggrr].
These cute birds happen to be my universal favourites!
I even rescued one when I was a child. Kept it home for a couple of days until it got well & flew.

I find that so weird that their on the decline in your country, they are very plentiful around here.
This is very well focused, clear, and composed. I like the markings on this cutie, very nice. tigs=^..^=

I have about 30 - 40 of these each day on my terrace feeding from my plate - they seem quite plentiful around here and are fun to watch. Your capture is excellent with a nice tilt of the head.

Sensational shot. I love the clarity, colors, and the bokeh.

Looks like a young male to me, as a boy they were very common and used to nest in the eaves outside my bedroom. A good clear shot MJ
