Taken at Mascot Mine in Hedley, British Columbia. This is about 5500 feet up and it takes roughly an hour to drive one way. A fan of mine liked this photo so much that he even had it put on a t-shirt. Feedback appreciated on this one....enjoy. I'm with you. That would work on my tee-shirt anytime. The lighting in this is fantastic. So is the perspective and the focus. The slight hint of color in the silouette portion is divine. Bout time you posted something.

A very artistic image.
The light that you have captured, that silhouettes the somewhat barren fir tree ... is ... well, otherworldly. Quite amazing.
Caveats?
Since it does look like this was cropped ... the unusual size of the borders leads me to think this ... and here, I do hesitate to suggest more cropping, however ... I would have preferred the image left pristeen and without the text added. The title is apt and quite evocative ... a better incorporation (on the side borders itself?) is my humble suggestion.
The contrasts are definitely dramatic and makes for a powerful visual. Nice work, make no mistake about my thoughts here.
