Your image exudes serenity. The golden hue of the sun provides excellent contrast. To the left of the image where the sun awakens, the rays brighten and sharpen the scene where as to the right one can view the hazy dawn where the new sun had not yet brightened or burned the fog away. Nice work.
Personally I would like to see it cropped a bit. For instance, keep everything from the top down to the middle of the water. Everything below that is not really important (just water and a railing? in the bottom left. Also, it will help the picture by using the rule of thirds. Try it out! And putting black on the top and bottom to compensate will make it feel like a wider view (like a panoram). Nice!
The rule of thirds essentially means that when you take a photo, to keep your focus in the thirds of the photograph (divide the picture each direction into thirds... interesecting lines are the points im talking about). Some people naturally center things. See here, you didnt center the sun, good! but you centered the horizon. Thats why I suggested cropping. And not all cases require the rule of thirds, but most landscapes benefit from it.
