I am so ignorant on this subject..why would a clam open up like this on its own? sunning itself on the beach? Or did you kill it and I am being stupid? No matter. It is a wonderful pic and a great perspective.

Well, I've never seen a clam that big, it must have taken you quite by surprise. I like the clam's reflection, it reminds me of Ms. Pacman. Great shot, worth the wet knees you probably got, LOL.
