Excellent depth, color tones and lines. This would have been perfect in both of the past two contests; Shadows and Vanishing Point. Fantastico!

I agree on all points mentioned above, especially the cool shadows.

I think you should get an Honorable Mention for having a shot that has both topics from the last two contests. It would probably do very well in a Natural Abstract contest, too. You have a good eye for a great looking shot.

The depth here is amazing, as well as all about this unique image; unique in so many ways, yet simple. All the components of an ideal DT. It will be tried at once by the undersigned.

I found myself looking at that for a fairly long time. Don't ask me why. For me its too subtly evocative of different thoughts to find words for any one thought.

Very well found and very well taken.

Thanks everyone for the comments, on that particular day I was experimenting with a new lens, I purchased the new Canon 16-35mm f2.8 L IS USM, and I used my Canon 7D, I have not had extensive experience with either yet, I wanted to try a wider lens as a 28mm was the widest I had until this lens, I am impressed with the initial results, the location is on top of a hill overlooking the town I live in and I was taking pictures of the town, on the way back to my car this shot is near the front gate and when I saw the shadows I saw this and like most of you experienced a moment of multiple perspectives.
