I took this photo about a year ago over the Arkansas River in Fort Smith. It was pretty funny too, when a police officer found me on the bank at 1 am during a storm and questioned me for about 20 minutes on what I was doing. I'm running the demo version of Neat Image so please forgive the partial noise reduction!! Critiques welcome :) Taken with a Canon Rebel XS. :edit: After viewing this picture on another computer, it looked too bright. Any tips on how to fix this so it looks OK on every computer? Thanks.

Looks ok on my Dell XP with double flat-screen monitors. But I have the monitors adjusted to the color intensity and brightness that I personally like. Love the pic...don't always get such a cloud reflection on a lightening bolt. And it is nice to actually see a few stars in the background.

That is some intensely bright lightning. I like it alot. I also like the inclusion of the roof and trees in the shot. They make it a bit more unique.

the pic is great and that is not because i like lightnings; lightnings r a dificult subject to shot. your problem can be solved by calibrating your display

Awesome picture. Lightning is something I've been trying to shoot. How did you do it? Camera settings? Trial and error? Lots of patience? lol inquiring minds need to know.
