One of my favorite things about Caedes is the feeling I get that I've traveled the world through people's photos.

I've never shot any "street scenes" so I'll try to comment on a few things that I know about. The reason I know about these things is because my Caedes friends faithfully tell me what I'm doing right and wrong.

I like the subject and he general composition. If I tried a street scene shot around here, I'd probably get beat up. The drum is beautiful, and you've captured the colors very well. I like the detail of the tiled pavement in the background as well. I would have tried to get rid of that bright white light on her shoe. It's distracting.

I love the subject and her drum, but the backdrop is distracting. The mopeds make it appear like a family snapshot. I don't know if you had the option but moving to your right before you took the photo might have changed the backdrop to fee less like it was done in a parking lot.

The exposure is well done, the color of the drum and the ribbons on her sticks stand out nicely.

The ornamental drum and sticks are the highlight of the shot. I'm surprised the drum is placed on the ground as I would think it would muffle the sound. The low drum position also requires the drummer to be in an uncomfortable position. Sorry we can't hear the performance.

I agree with the above comments. The photo's colors and subject are excellent but the mopeds and white flash do infringe on it's potential. I like the tight framing of this shot.
