It looks as though it's coming down pretty hard Cal.Looks as though you caught the snow at the right time and I bet it was so pretty here with the snow on the mountains. Nice post.

Something about this that is so misty and mysterious with the snow drifting down...

It's an interesting view. Sort of looks like a view from a picture window--someone inside is looking out to see the snow coming down.

Wow more snow, its snowing here in southern Ohio now. North Carolina is nicer though. I like this shot, I like the mountains.

Snow is such a delightful subject, specially when it's new, and I like the way it strikes the glass and allows us to have such a subjective view of it. I wish there were more definition in the image, though. I see a blurry mass in the background of the window, with a hint of mountains. Perhaps if you had opened your aperture (low f-stop) it would have reduced your depth of field enough to completely blur out the background, soas to isolate the snow on the window without the distraction of the background which in this image is just in focus enough for us to wonder what it is, but is out of focus enough that we are left wanting more.

Likewise if you'd taken the shot outdoors (I assume this is indoors.) it would have allowed us to see more of the world beyond the immediate focal plane without the distraction of the smudged glass between us and your subject. Finally it's probably a good idea to have a definite identifiable subject in your image even if it's not where you put your art (From the high quality of the images in your gallery I gather you know what I mean.).

Nice image, though, and I'm glad for this introduction to your gallery.
