A dried up pond at the Carolina Sandhills National Wildlife Refuge...The lack of rainfall is not to blame here, they draw down some ponds for the benefit of migratory birds!

What an unbelievable shot Cal. I've never seen so many stumps in my life LOL. It looks as though it's a pond of endless stumps from your composition. Very nice!

I have seen this one before, and I thought I left a comment on it!! Perhaps I did and my ISP decided to go down. It's had a mind of its own lately. Interesting view, and it's also interesting that they are that concerned over the fate of the bird :)
