Great Pee Dee River Heritage Preserve Mechanicsville S.C. A friend and me were riding in this preserve when he says whoa whoa whoa! I backed up and he said look at that owl! I said where, he said right there! Then I saw it sitting much closer than I had thought! He was staying put despite us until I got out! This is an unusual owl to be out in the daytime and I saw him near the same spot the next day!?
