Ravens are traditionally considered harbingers of gloom and doom but this one seemed to be working a different groove. :) I put this in the manipulation category because I replaced the sky entirely, messed with shadows and colour balance and temp and basically this looks nothing like the original. Taken in the Midlands a couple of years back after a brief flurry of snow. The sky is an Aussie sky so I guess that makes this a bi-continental image. :)

This a Raven or a Crow Mikel!!..Just that Ravens are known to be at the Tower of London and are a protected species!..and not in the wild!...However...this is stunning work, any kinda bird would have be the perfect model for this!....Not a budgie though!...he he!

With those threatening clouds this birds' presence still suggests a note of gloom but perhaps it's just my perception...in any case, a great manip and intriguing to view.

you did good with the sky replacement, and that bird looks huge and scary sitting there, im not a huge fan of crows, i think i watched alfred hictchcocks the birdw when i was too young! lol
