A different angle on the same stretch of river as in It's All In The Lines. There is a human in the centre of this image, I left him there because he gives a sense of scale, once you find him. Eucumbene River at Kiandra, Snowy Mountains, Australia.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

PS That ceramic-glaze-like-blue of the river is a bit of a mystery to me. The river is quite shallow with brown rocks less than a metre from the surface. Perhaps the blue sky above and the angle and the polarizing filter I was using all play a factor in producing that colour. Wherever it came from it certainly contrasts well with the ochre tones of the land!

Here you go, Mikel ... was just listening to this track:

"Cool Change"

Seems to fit on some levels, with respect to your image here.

And yes, I took a look at your website as well. Which lead to me searching out some of the Little River Band's songs. So ...

Thanks for the aural prompt ... and thanks for sharing this one with us. Happen to enjoy both. :o)

Took me awhile to find that human! Such a wide encompassing view. As usual I find these colors and textures refreshing yet unusual to my eyes. Love the winding river. Oh, and thanks to you both, I'm now reliving the past, musically! : )

Loving the color contrasts between the land and the water. The human really does put a scale to the vastness of it all...Well done once again....BTW...Great Website.

I just can't get over the color of that water. I couldn't see the man but my eyes aren't what they used to be. I will never get over the huge beautiful-ness of Australia. It's on my Bucket List for sure - thanks for this awe inspiring post. *Mary*
