Wandering around along the banks of the Klong (Canal) I came upon this old long boat as the sun was getting low in the sky. Maybe in several hundred or several thousand years some archeologist, human or otherwise, might dig this up and see it as an amazing treasure. Seems to me it's not sinking into the mud without a fight, head still up and proud. :)

Enjoy.

Mikel.

Good shot. I have one very similar, but green paint on the boat.
Most of the small elements/reflections along the upper left border and a bit on the upper right could be cloned over. This would maintain full concentration on the prime subject area without affecting anything else.

Wonderful contrasting tones. Interesting varied textures, as if it was repaired many times. The rusty colors remind me of the creeks we explored as a child.

I love the deep dramatic colour here! A picture of strength and even elegance in its own way. Mikel you have created a true work of art with the way you did this photograph! The drama is deep and made me ponder for a long time about the whole thing.
You have a great artists touch. Verena
