The Australian National Gallery has this sculpture representing the earth suspended outside the towering space of the old main entrance. This is the second version of this sculpture as the first version was struck by lightening and destroyed, Zeus maybe? :) I thought there were enough interesting evocations here for this to qualify as bizarre but I left it too late to get it into the bizarre contest. Oh well.

Enjoy.

Mikel.

Nice photo, Mikel! The angle is perfect, and the lens flares with the lights up top make a nice touch. :)

The geometry of all those triangles is incredible. It would have been perfect for the contest.

An excellent photo, Mikel! The lines and sharp angles in this shot are terrific. I love how you've captured the lights overhead, and the red sphere looks fabulous against the black background. Well done!

People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative. Dan Winters - Photographer.
