Chengdu is China's best kept secret. There is SO much here to savour. This is the JinJiang River, which wanders thru Chengdu, which is a city of over ten million. The mistiness is a Chengdu Winter norm, the city certainly suffers from air pollution but you can drive far out into the countryside and find this exact same misty quality, which I found totally entrancing. This was a long exposure using my Gorillapod SLR (With my normal Manfrotto ball head attached.) wrapped around the railing you see there. I put a small S curve on this, plus two points of amber and two points of blue, that's it. Honestly, if you ever get to China you just gotta get yourself to Chengdu. I only saw the city and one Mountain (Which almost killed me.) and I'm going to have to return for all the glories scattered willy nilly across the whole Sichuan Province.
Enjoy.
Mikel.
PS, yes, Panda's are immanent.
