I like the colours. The orange clashes with the blue very nicely. One thing I might suggest is to make the background shaper/more clarity. Its is blurred and i think it will give the image a much more proffesional look. and if possible maybe adding the butterflies shadows may increase its realism. Give it a go!
Thank you guy's very much for your kind words! :-) I seem to get this a lot about the sharpening thing, I am blind to a certain degree, and I rely heavily on my sister to tell me when things are infocus! Raziel252, thank you for your kind feedback about your suggestion of adding shadows to the butterflies, I honestly thought that I had! Perhaps I should have gone a bit stronger, do you think? No really, I am asking you! I really do appreciate everyones feedback and I will try them out and see how it goes! Do you think I should re-post those that I re-do? Just asking!
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
I like the concept of this picture. It makes me see it as tho the butterflys are so way up high over a mappy backdrop of different terrains and ocean. awesome. :) It triggers me a few ideas of my own.
I agree, I love this just the way it is. The colors are outstanding, The butterflies look so sharp against the background. This is a "keeper" for me, I downloaded it right away. Thanks for sharing your work with us.
