ok, take this commentary with the knowledge that i have zero experience in CG, so i'm reacting purely on visuals here. i really like the oranges, and the mirror effect of the sky refleting off of the water. the black and white rocks to the sides seem out of place...there's nothing really tying them in for me. the formations themselves are fine, but perhaps if you colored them, or at least touched the right places with orange light, it would make them seem to fit into the frame...hope this helps

The sky looks like it’s on fire and the ground looks scorched. As for the water, it looks like a bay of oil. A nice project using Terragen.
