I showed you a photo of the atrium of the North Dakota Heritage Center's Northern Lights Atrium a few days ago, looking like a glimpse into the future in a 1960's Popular Science magazine issue. Here, on Christmas Eve night, the Atrium is viewed from outside, across virgin snow muffling nearly all sound out here. The aurora borealis, projected on the screens at the top of the structure, bleed out onto the copper walls. I can't think of a better image with which to wish you all a Merry and Peaceful Christmas.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I could write a book by way of commenting on this image, but understandably no one expects any large or sophisticated comments following the big eating period ! :)
Merry post-Christmas.

A most excellent job on this. Just the fact that you caught the snow undisturbed is remarkable. Colors, exposure and composition are all spot on. Well done.
