Nice image, but your DOF breaks down too soon. Try higher f-stops and see if you don't think it's better. Don't get your hopes up about fall as the dog days are just starting, so summer is not thru yet:):).

This picture had some creative thought behind, so its too bad the colors are a little washed out. Keeping trying!

I like the little splash of color. You might try upping the saturation a little. If you don't have PhotoShop or PS Elements, there is freeware that does an adequate job for small enhancements to the original. You might also change the perspective by holding the camera closer to the ground.

The idea behind the picture is great, I find the colors a little washed out and the dead weed next to it a bit distracting from the red one. I think if you try some different angles you might get it right! These are the dog days of summer and I do see hints of fall starting here where I live. I think there will be some great photo op's coming.Jodie
