Again another shot from my canal walks. Just for anyone who may be interested ( as I am ), the canal was constructed or ' cut ' as we call it, in the mid 1700's.

Great shot, Stan. I love the way you composed it. Looks as if you might have some DOF trouble. You need to increase the f-stops to increase your DOF. If your camera supports it, use aperture priority mode and set the aperture to the highest f-stop you can. Take a series of shots decreasing the aperture each time and see the difference between them. Many pros, of which I am not one, use the aperture mode almost exclusively. Still, it's a nice shot, but to take it to the next level you need to work on DOF. Your friend, Maurice.
