I put my name on this one as I have had a bet with one of my nieces in Australia, so forgive what appears to be vanity. This farm was built c.mid - late 1600's. It is a beautiful timbered building typical of that era. I know nothing of any history about the farm, at present. It is still occupied and is still a working farm. However, sad to say its present owners have no knowledge of history, respect or style!! TV ariel & sat.dish on top of a building of such beauty!! I deapair sometimes.

Stan this would be wonderful to walk through. It is sad to see the modern stuff on it, i will agree on that one. This is fine job of such a neat and probably somewhat historical building.

I can see your point, Stan. It's interesting how some people can just disregard the "specialness" of things preserved and kept through the years :)

Oh I love timber frame houses! I think they have such a cozy look to them. Your pictures would be so much fun to paint, I may have to ask your permission sometime. :)

When it comes to the question of whether the glass is half full or half empty, you must first consider what is in the glass.
