Well it certainly is an unusual view but I think it would look even better if you adjusted the tones with an image editor. I do like the dynamic angles you used here and I think the photo has a lot of potential.

When I first saw it in the voting booth I could not deside on "What" it really was. Altough I did like the lines and pearly shadows, I wish you stood away a little - to give us the Idea of the subject!

I like the way the blade fades into the mist, and I agree, try to turn the sky less grey with photoshop or something for more constrast.... that is a windmill isn't it? : )

Keeping it all geay is whay our photographer sees this image as cold and grey...it seems to try to get through to us is his perspective of what that day and possibly there mood....I like it
