I liked the different textures around this shot...thought it makes a nice DT. The flower is a Mexican Sunflower, which is perennial in FL. :)

Oh, I just had to find you and the pic in the gallery! I just voted on this, with a number 10 of course, and had to tell you this is the most beautiful flower and water scene I've ever seen! Just wonderful! Great job on the selection, colour, and design. :) :) :)

I just got this in the VB, loved it and decided to go see who the person behind the photo was :) I gave it high marks because of all the awesome textures, the composition and even the small framing work you did with this adds an extra special something. I loved this because it's original and sunny. The water seems almost unreal, and it took me a few seconds to figure out it must be a pool (the fun of not knowing the title when you vote)... anyway, well done! It's going to my faves :)

What a wonderfully imaginative shot you've composed!! Its DOF is perfect and you're right about the textures. Even the water that the flower is sitting in is adding to the upload with the reflection of its own on the "pebble" texture. Great job and of course I saved it :)

Very creative imagery! It almost looks like an abstract. Colours and textures are wonderful.

That's really cool. I love the different textures. I mean, how many people think to take a picture of a rose next to a pool?
