This is a park near the home I lived in last. It's a brackish lake that connects to Galveston Bay. Shot with Ilford XP2, printed on Ilford pearl, and poorly scanned.

Hi Matt...gosh it's been a long time since I've been in Galveston but I'll never forget it...all those little blue crab nibbling at my legs..LOL...I love this shot of yours. It has a wonderful amount of drama in it! Many people would totall shy away and run from taking a picture of poles like this, but I like it very much! This is life..we live with these poles and so why try to hide them?! The perspective you've given this photo is great and that tad bit of light shining thru the clouds and reflecting on the water is also just wonderful. All in all this is a great shot, I got it in the VB and gave it a bigtime ten! Verena

I like the edges...that's a sweet touch and it outlines the piece with a rugged feel. Compositionally it works great too, the powerlines add a lot of perspective for your eyes to wander, which I even noticed the moon in the shot. Nicely done ;)

Hello Matt....This is a very nice mono picture....With the telegraph poles so high it is nice to see the picture in portrait mode...Well done....All the best....Mick.
