Copper seems to be the 'in' colour at the moment, so when I saw these new leaves shimmering in full sunlight on a local beech tree, I felt they deserved a capture. Shot with a Canon S3 IS at 6mm, f4, 1/400, ISO 80.

Sorry I haven't gotten to this right away -- I was "away" for three nights watching the long version CD's of Lord of the Rings!
I love the colour of those leaves - usually it's the oaks in the fall that turn that shade. Sweet, sweet Spring! The sun is so beautiful and bright on them.
