My son flew in from Phoenix, AZ and we went out to eat at a place called Copelands, known for their steak. When we came out I noticed these HUGE blooms on a Crepe Myrtle tree so I had to snap one.
My wife has planted Crepe Myrtles all over our yard. I loathe them every time I mow around them or have to trim them off of the house. You however have shown just how beautiful they are. Well done.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Boy, I'm so happy you did take a shot at these beautiful blossoms on the tree. I remember these and brings back wonderful memories of old, lol. Wonderful capture, love it

Good work, Pat.
