It is truly amazing to think of these many artistic statues and forms in one place. It almost looks like they were protraying good and evil here. And all hose wood pieces that have the letter "F" on them...I wonder what kind of wood that is. But it looks very rich. What do they use this castle for nowadays? Just tourists or what? Its spectacular and wonderful that you cn just be in there aNd take photos. Are those figurines made of alabaster or what? It must be a huge room too...THank yoiu Paul for such gorgeous photos....and for sharing them as you have.
What a wonderful place to find yourself waiting in...so much beauty and art to take in...another marvellous capture of these magnificent surroundings...thanks for sharing the image and the dream.:Pat.
This is a beautiful location and subject. The colors are amazingly rich, and your exposure is perfect. Now I'm going out on a limb when I point out that the image is busy. It's hard to focus on any particular part of it, and though my work is no better, maybe you have more talent than I and can improve where I can't. A tenet of composition is simplicity which allows the viewer to see only the object of the work and not be distracted wth other things, and this shot would benefit from that rule I think.
And to think, we hang our artwork in galleries on plain walls to focus on the art. In these places its like each craftsman outstepped one another to vie for the attention of the viewer.
Although I agree artistically with regmar, I love this picture because it takes me to an incredible place which I can't travel to right now. Thanks for sharing.
