Sometimes inspiration comes at unexpected moments. In this case I was fighting with my son in the backyard. Of course I lost that fight, but laying on my back in the grass I saw something beautiful... Hope you like this better than my fighting!

Looking good Paul! I like the way the viewer can see the texture of the underside of the flower's petals in this shot. The background you used is quite complimentary to the flower and makes a wonderful contrast. Good sharp detail and focus and clarity and spot on composition. My dear Paul...this is just so beautiful! There is nothing like seeing a photo from a different angle, and with the sunlight coming thru this way it makes these little flowers just glow and it shows up all the lines that give the petals life. The colours are gorgeous. And Im sure glad you stopped long enough to take the picture. thank you sweets!..V

I have a simple formula; do your best and somebody might like it.
This is really beautiful and nicely simple... the colors are bold, and the angle so unusual! I love how the edges of the petals are all picked out by the light.
