Very nice, many color shades from beige to brown in this image, all very pleasing to the eye. Also the mask is very interesting indeed, reminds me of a painting called "the scream", was this for sale?

I wouldn't say this reminds me of The Scream but rather someone much like myself at the moment, sleepy and yawning, lol...very interesting sculpture...thanks for sharing.:Pat.

You caught the smoothness and texture of wood very nicely there! Pat might be right about The Scream, but it might be some Greek Tragedy that inspired this! Forgotten them all by now. lol! Thank you for yet another interesting picture of the World!

I gave this one lower points than I might have, because of the, "What the-?" factor. But I also gave it higher points than I might have because of the "What the-?" factor. I love the texture of the wood and the color and feel of it. You do almost find yourself wondering what inspired the carving, and what the person who did it might have been like. The extra stuff like the hinges and the wooden spool beside and under it kind of detract, but they also add because of contrast. All in all a very good picture considering you probably wouldn't have wanted to touch and move a bunch of stuff around just to get a picture in this person's shop. In the cercumstances you did really well.
P.S. Any advice, comments, pointers, (Or Criticisms, heh.) you might like to make on my gallery pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
