Sorry Tom, I tried to give this a 10, it was the slip of a finger 9. My vote is a ten. This is just fantastic! Lucky you to get such an awesome shot.

Really good capture and you probably just got the one chance at it! Great detail on the bird, well done.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

What the heck, I missed this one obviously. I don't get out enough. This is a great shot Tom with excellent detail. Birds of prey are so much more interesting;-)

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for ID'ING this one! I feed the wild birds at my house and have been trying to figure out the name of the hawk that swoops in and eats my doves!!!!!!!!!! I looked in "Florida Birds of prey" and it never mentioned this one! I knew it was too big to be a Cooper's Hawk and too small to be a Kestrel...
I have tried to get photos but not even a blurred bad one! GREAT SHOT!!!!!! They are beautiful...even though I don't like them eating in my sanctuary...:)
